I don't recall Ali being knocked down by complete powder punchers (I mean a serious knockdown by Willie Limond is more than enough evidence of no chin) Knocked down by many of these smaller fighters suggests that unless Khan revolutionises his defence and movement he will never be consistent at world class level. He shouldn't lose heart, be inspired by world champs with glass jaws (Wladamir Klitchko is the only real deal that springs 2 mind.)
